Arddangosfa Cyanotypes Penybontfawr / Penybontfawr Cyanotypes Exhibition Fun Palace

Oedolion a phlant – creuwch Cyanotype trawiadol (Print Haul), a’i arddangos yn eich ffenest i gymryd rhan mewn arddangosfa gymunedol ar benwythnos Palasau Hwyl (Hydref 2-4ydd). Bydd setiau Cyanotypes AM DDIM a chyfarwyddiadau ar gael o’r Cwpwrth Celf tu allan i fy nhŷ. Er mwyn diogelwch o ran Covid, byddan nhw yna a heb eu cyffwrth 48 awr cyn y penwythnos. (O.N. Adults and children – create a stunning Cyanotype (Sun Print), and display it in your window to take part in a community exhibition on Fun Palaces Weekend (October 2-4th). FREE Cyanotype sets will be available from the Art Cupboard outside my house. For safety with respect to Covid, they will be untouched in the cupboard for 48 hours before the weekend. (N.B. A limited number of sets will be available)

This is a method of creating a beautiful image on paper that has been treated to make it photo-sensitive. It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’s magical and exciting! You will need to choose an item(s) to place on the paper, and put it in a light place until the paper changes colour. You will then need to put the paper in clean cold water for 5 minutes to make the image permanent. The main thing to remember is to keep the paper in the black envelope until the last second because light will affect it straight away! If you have a piece of glass or clear plastic to place on the paper to hold the items down, it helps to create a clear image. Then place your image in your window to take part in our community exhibition, and go for a walk to see everyone else\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’s images.
