Join an Impromptu Tiny FUN PALACE at Curiositea Rooms at Pages Park Station on Saturday 10th October at 11am. 🎊🥳🎉🪅

On Saturday it was the annual Fun Palaces  weekend. Am having withdrawal symptoms from being an part of Fun Palaces Makers crew so have decided to hold this spur of moment activity

Anyone can come along and share their interests or passions. For me thats family history so will share some tips to starting out in researching. What are you passionate and what do you want to share? There will be 3 activities and its completely guided by whoever turns up!!

1. Old Photo Share: Bring along an old photo—whether it’s local history, a family memory, or an intriguing snapshot from the past—and tell us the story behind it.

2. Knowledge Sharing: Pass on a tip, demonstrate a practical skill, or learn something completely new from a neighbor.

3. 5-Minute Experts: Got a unique passion, niche hobby, or quick life lesson? Take five minutes to share your spark with the group!

This event is simply to bring people together to share skills, stories, and connection.

Fun Palaces are all about believing in the genius in everyone—that every person is both an artist and a scientist, and that local, radical fun can make a real difference. You don’t need to be an authority on anything to join in; you just need a desire to share or listen!

Whether you want to share a story, offer a quick tip, or simply enjoy the company and conversation over a cup of tea, everyone is welcome.

Come along, celebrate our community’s living history, and unleash your inner expert!
