The Women in Engineering Society at the University of Sheffield is dedicated to empowering women in engineering through community support, professional development, and outreach initiatives. Established in 2012, we foster a network of over 500 members, promote STEM education, and advocate for diversity and inclusion in engineering. Our efforts include mentoring programs, high-profile event participation, and inspiring younger generations through volunteering initiatives and the creation of educational resources like the ”Suzie and Ricky” book series, all of which highlight our impact on a national stage.
