Wisbech Radicals Online! Fun Palace

Reflecting on our past (with at least 3 famous radicals – but many more, we’re sure!) and how they collaborated and communicated, our idea is to use new tech to explore ways we communicate and collaborate in the 21st Century.
ONLINE Saturday, VISIT Sunday!

Date and Time

Friday 1st October 2021 13:00-16:00

This Fun Palace is taking place online

Minecraft, the history of Women in Computing, crochet for left handers, weaving, podcasting and more will be discussed and demonstrated, then recorded and shown online Saturday afternoon. Plan at the moment is to go live on zoom and embed it in the website! So hopefully you’ll be able to watch the crochet (very zen) and fly through town (in Minecraft, we’re not offering free rocket boosters…) direct on the website wisbechradicals.org.uk (Or we’ll post the zoom there)
We’re having great fun learning new tech all the time – even after 30 years!
(the website is also for launching a loose collective/project based on loca radical people – so you’ll see more pages appear over the next few days)
