We're excited to be hosting our very first Fun Palace here at Whitworth Library! As a small library with a big heart and a fabulously supportive community, we already welcome local people to have ownership of the space, so we're well set up for a free, fun packed event, made by local people for local people. We'll enable our local community to create a 'laboratory of fun and a university of the street'- in essence, a local, free festival of art, science, digital, heritage, sport and tech, for all ages. With of course a warm Whitworth welcome for all guaranteed! At Fun Palaces people come together to share their skills, passions and interests, and we can't wait to show the world just how brilliant and packed full of genius our Whitworth community is!
