Join Brook Arts Hub and River Hope at Stratford Library to celebrate water and rivers with free, drop in activities for all ages.
10am - 3pm: River Hope community photography and video installation. Suitable for all
10.15am: Shakespeare for All: come along to read Twelfth Night aloud, or just to listen, in partnership with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust Suitable for 12+
For families: A River Comes to Life: help create a river installation
10am – 12pm: Lego – will you add a bridge over the river or a building on the bank?
12.30pm – 2.30pm: Riverscape creativity and crafts - imagine and create plants, fishes, water birds and animals to bring our riverscape to life.
12:30 – 2:30pm: Listening Corner with a selection of poems and stories about water from around the world.

Royal Shakespeare Theatre, 11am – 3pm
Join us to ‘Fold your Theatre’, with ‘A Line Art’ and create a mini RST in the Welcome Space. Using paper craft folding, you are invited to make, create and decorate the actors, theatre lights, theatre chairs, costumes, even Shakespeare himself.
Pop in anytime from 11am – 3pm, at our ‘Welcome Space’, second floor in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Free activity. Children must be accompanied by parents/carers.
Shakespeare’s New Place, 11am - 4pm
Join us for free (for everyone) at NEW PLACE GARDENS.
Garden adventures, activities, talks and more! - Bring a picnic and relax beneath the mulberry trees, smell the roses and discover how Shakespeare's former family home is being brought to life for and by Stratford people today. - No need to book. All ages welcome.
Escape Arts & Heritage Centre, 1:30 - 4:30pm
Join Escape Arts for free fun activities for all the family. Join us and make our very own junk boats from Lego, paper, card, empty plastic containers & other junk materials. Will it float and carry your cargo? We will also collect your memories and stories of the river for our heritage project. We will also be serving fresh coffee and teas, plus an assortment of sweet treats (for a small fee).
