Activities will include an animation tutorial where we will share how you can make your very own short movie, how to make your own GIF to share with friends and family, plus fun paper crafts including making a paper flower bouquet, origami hopping frogs and cute animal corner bookmarks! Also keep an eye out for staff showcasing hidden talents!

Join Stirling Council Libraries very own Animates as they demonstrate how to make your very own animated movie using your device and stop motion app. Follow the steps and you can be Animazing!!


Digital Inclusion Officer Angela will be showcasing her hidden talent – demonstrating how to make hopping origami frogs! Hoppy Fun Palaces Weekend!!


Carolyn from Bridge of Allan Library will be doing a crochet tutorial where you can learn the three basic stitches of crochet. Watch out, you might get hooked!!


Closing our Fun Palaces on Saturday will be Kathy from Bridge of Allan who will show you how to make an adorable animal corner bookmark. You will never lose your page again!!

We’ll kick off Sunday’s Fun Palaces with a step by step tutorial on creating your very own GIF that you can share with your friends and family.


Join Heather, Digital Inclusion Officer at Stirling Council Libraries as she will show you how to make your very own colourful paper flower bouquet. Beautiful!


Lauren, Digital Technican at Stirling Council Libraries will demonstrate how to make your very own Macrame flower pot hanger which you can hang in your home or garden.


We thought we would finish off Fun Palaces weekend with a lovely tune! Liz, Reader Services Librarian at Stirling Council Libraries and has been learning to play the fiddle and will play us out with a lovely tune by the late Tom Anderson.
