What does home look, sound and smell like to you? 

Come along to Ministry of Stories’ creative writing Fun Palace and fill your very own bespoke writing booklet with ideas about what makes a home a home. (And you get to take the booklet home with you!)

Writing facilitator Regan will guide you through writing creatively about what makes a space into a home and illustrator Tiffany will help you bring your ideas to life with vibrant drawing.

Suitable for all ages, you can drop-in and drop-out – no pressure!

What to expect

This is a drop-in workshop - whenever you arrive, our writing facilitator or one of our volunteers will help you get stuck in. 

Everyone will get their very own, bespoke writing booklet in which they can write down all their ideas. You can write in it, brainstorm or draw - whatever you like! Illustrator Tiffany will be there if you want a helping hand with drawing. 

The booklet will include writing exercises and prompts to help you along the way.

What makes a home feel like a home? What's your dream home? Is it in space, under the sea, on top of a cloud? Is the key to your dream home an orb, a magic word or a specific coughing pattern?
