The library is fully accessible with ramps leading to the historic entrance at the front of the building and a lift to the archives entrance from the car park. We also have lift access to the upstairs hall and disabled toilets on both floors. The Fun Palaces event will be taking place in multiple areas around the library! We are a 15 minute walk from the Gateshead Interchange or there are a number of bus stops directly outside the library and down Durham Road which can get you to us from all around the North East!
