Timed Activity Sessions 

• 10am - 12am - Messy Paint and Play: Come along to do some window painting of things you love about the library and books in general. We have painting, colouring and general creative fun!
• 10:15am - 10:45am, 11:45am - 12:15pm - Music with Phil!: Come along and have fun singing! We'll be playing musical games as well as singing songs to dust off those vocal cords.
• 1:30pm - 3:30pm - Slime Making: Get creative and make your own colourful, stretchy slime to take home! Ran by the Friends of Fleetwood Library.
• 12pm - 2:30pm - Face Painting: Add a splash of colour to your day with fantastic face painting designs.
• 10am - 12pm - Reiki Taster: Experience an introduction to Reiki and discover its calming benefits.
• 10am - 12pm - Soothing Sound bath: Immerse yourself in calming sounds designed to promote relaxation and wellbeing.
• 1pm - 1:45pm, 2pm - 2:45pm - Family Yoga: Join us for a playful family yoga experience that encourages mindfulness, movement and connection.
• 1pm - 3:30pm - Treasure Hunters: Children can try metal detecting, learn how the equipment works, and discover fascinating local history through hands-on exploration and treasure hunting.

Performances and Workshops

• 11am - 11:45am - A fun-filled, creative movement workshop with LPM Dance.

Join dance artist Coz for a fun, inclusive dance workshop designed for all ages and abilities. Enjoy uplifting music, creative movement, rhythm and engaging props as you explore your own groove. No dance experience required – just bring your energy and enthusiasm! Can be taken seated or standing.

• 1pm - 3:30pm - Performances from students at Fleetwood Academy of Modern Music

Come and enjoy an uplifting performance from the music school's talented students. From solo pieces to ensemble performances, this special event celebrates creativity, dedication, and a love of music. Suitable for all ages – everyone welcome!

• 12pm - 1pm - Join us for a creative graffiti workshop.

You can design and decorate your own spray paint can with bold colours, patterns, and street art-inspired techniques.

• Judo Taster Sessions: Try the exciting sport of judo in a fun, friendly session where you'll learn basic techniques, build confidence, and develop new skills with Kaidokan Judo Academy, based in Blackpool.
• Reminiscence Cafe: Come along and see our interesting display of old artefacts, objects, and scrapbooks from different decades. We would love to hear your happy memories of days gone by. With Wyre Council.
• Knitting and Crochet Lessons: Learn the basics of knitting and crochet in a friendly, hands-on session, perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike.
• Shared Storytime Session: Every hour, on the hour, Join us for a magical story time filled with exciting tales, imagination and fun for the whole family.
• Join the team from The Bay: Helping you explore the wildlife that calls Fleetwood and Morecambe Bay home. We'll also be sharing the simple things that you can do to help nature and people thrive. Pop along to our table, we'll be there all day.
• Biscuit Decorating: Design a delicious masterpiece using icing, sprinkles and sweets to decorate your own biscuit.
• Crown Making: Create and decorate your own royal crown with colourful craft materials, then wear your masterpiece with pride.
• Passport to Spain: Explore the Spanish language and culture through fun activities, simple conversation, music, traditions, and discoveries from across the Spanish-speaking world.
• Police Cadet Taster Session: Join us and discover exciting opportunities to build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and make a positive difference in your community.
• Fleetwood Town Community Trust: Join us for a fun boccia session and enjoy a friendly, inclusive game that builds coordination, teamwork, and confidence for all ages and abilities.
