Friday 1st October 2021

AshKnit group – Knitting challenge!

Our brilliant community knitting group has set a challenge to created knitted squares which can then be sent to the Ashcroft to be made into blankets for local charities! You will require a pair of knitting needles and some yarn.

The knitting group meets monthly on Fridays from 2pm-4pm. Call the Ashcroft if you would like some more information.

Check our socials for the challenge on the 3rd October.

Ashcroft staff – Creative writing challenge!

One of our staff members has created this flash fiction (500 words or less) exercise for anyone that wants to give writing a go! The catch is, you will need to use the words we provide twice in your story, but in a different context each time…

Check our socials for the challenge on the 3rd October.

Art class tutor – Autumn painting challenge!

One of our art tutors has designed a wonderful art challenge and will teach you how to paint using things you can find at home! You will require a paintbrush and paper/something to paint onto.

Check our socials for the challenge on the 3rd October.
