Tooth-tastic Fun Palace at Nuneaton Library

Toot-tastic Fun Palace is a day full of activities to mark 'World Oral Health Day', where you can come along to learn all about tooth health, take part in fun activities, grab some tooth-related freebies, and meet the 'Dentist'! Did you know that nearly a quarter of 5 year olds in England have obvious signs of tooth decay?

Featured Activities Include:

• Interactive Illustration Activities with Chris White - Children's illustrator and entertainer Chris White will be creating tooth themed artwork in his fun and interactive workshops
• Giant Tooth Model Brushing Station - Get hands-on with a giant model of teeth and toothbrush and learn good brushing and flossing habits
• Eggshell Experiment - Watch eggshells react to different drinks and learn about how enamel is affected by what we eat and drink. Each experiment will last 15 minutes, and will be taking place at intervals throughout the day
• Colouring Corner - Get creative with our tooth-themed colouring sheets
• Dental Health Information Zone - Explore our interactive board filled with leaflets and posters to boost your dental knowledge

This event was designed by the Warwickshire Libraries Youth Board, a group of young people aged 11-25 who help to shape what Warwickshire Libraires offers to young people. They meet online every term, and have a few hybrid meetings in between. If you are aged 11-25 and are interested in being part of this dynamic group, creating exciting events across Warwickshire, then fill out this online form.
