The short description says it all. Put the kettle on and join me on Zoom to chat in Spanish.
A bit about me. I am Jess. Brixton born and bred, but now married to a diplomat and we have lived overseas for over 3 years now. First Tanzania and now we are in Cambodia. I am a teacher/translator/blogger.
I have over ten years of experience teaching Spanish French and English to 5-18 years olds and adults. I have worked across state, private and international schools as well as given private lessons in Chile, England, Spain, Tanzania and currently in Cambodia, giving me a broad range of experience and exposure to different people and cultures and enabling me to develop a holistic approach to language learning. I have also witnessed the joy and the sense of achievement of imparting my knowledge to students.
I love teaching languages, I find there is often a fear behind getting it wrong in languages but mistakes are where the progress happens. I am also happy to help students with any work they are doing in Spanish.
Outside of teaching, I am an avid reader, knitter, swimmer and cyclist. I love visiting new places, learning new things, meeting new people and discovering new sunsets.
Bienvenidos a mi charla 🙂
