This Fun Palace will take place in Autograph’s Studio and Gallery 1, on the ground floor. Autograph is located in the Shoreditch area of Hackney, in East London. Autograph Rivington Place London EC2A 3BA We are a short walk from Shoreditch High Street, Old Street and Liverpool Street stations. If you are travelling by bus, the 26, 35, 47, 48, 55, 67, 149 and 243 buses stop at the Shoreditch Church and Shoreditch Town Hall. These bus stops are close to the gallery. Autograph does not have public parking. To find the nearest available parking and rates, we recommend justpark.com. Description

Join us at Autograph’s gallery in Shoreditch for a fun and relaxed afternoon, exploring the making, taking and preservation of photographs in this family-friendly workshop. Suitable for all ages, there will be various guided and independent activities to take part in. The workshop will be led by artist and archivist Cassia Clarke, inspired by her own attempts to rescue her family photographs from storage in an airing cupboard.

What to expect


📸 Take part in a practical activity, recreating family photographs using an instant camera
⏳ Learn how to preserve your photographs for future generations to enjoy, using simple archival techniques
🔎 Explore Autograph’s galleries and exhibitions by taking part in a scavenger hunt

Attendees are invited to drop in between 1pm and 4pm, with final admission at 3:30pm. Autograph’s events are popular and booking a time slot is encouraged. Click here to book.
