Fun Palaces workshops 2021

Join us on Zoom on the last Tuesday of the month for a chance to learn more, share ideas, ask questions and connect with other Fun Palaces Makers. All the workshops will include plenty of chances to connect with the other participants, as we know that Makers are each other’s best resource, as well as presentations from the Fun Palaces team, veteran Makers with a few Fun Palaces under their belts, and special guests.

Workshops are free and open to all – you may be planning a Fun Palace, just curious, or thinking of a different idea for your community. If the session looks useful to you, come along!

We are kicking off on the 25th of May with a session on getting started. Check out the schedule below, book your place, and check back for more details on future workshops over the coming months.

Times will change month to month, so hopefully some of the sessions will be at a convenient time for everyone.

  • 25th May 2021, 6:30PM-8PM. Getting started, finding people to make your Fun Palace with you, and a place for it to happen Book here.
  • 29th June 2021, 6:30PM-8PM. Fun Palaces and Young People: an opportunity to share and discuss ideas for ‘handing over’ to young people and communities. Book here.

  • 31st August 2021, 6.30PM-8PM, Climate Friendly Fun Palaces: making fun things happen with your community and saving the planet at the same time, in collaboration with Possible. Book here.

September Bonanza!

In September workshops will be available most Tuesdays, in the run up to the 2021 Weekend of Action on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of October.
