This a free event, people are free to turn up on the day, not booking is necessary.


This is a Street Party to celebrate the Queen's Birthday on the 11th June 2022.

This event has been organised by Newtown Network for the residents of Newtown and beyond, and is a result of a collaboration between Salvation Army, Trinity Tabernacle Church, Lawrence Hill Health Centre and Trinity Community Arts Ltd.


This event will also feature local artists, and will give space for local businesses.

There will be music and performances throughout the day - such as a performance from the Salvation Army Brass Band.  Other activities will include a Free Bouncy Castle, Free Face-Painting and other activities.


Newtown Network would love support for this celebration and any volunteers are welcome!


Saturday 11th June 2022


Salvation Army Brass Band will open the Street Party with a performance and they will be playing throughout the day.


FREE Bouncy Castle


Food - BBQ Chicken, Burgers and Vegan Options available, will be served throughout the event.

Cake Stand -  Members of the Salvation Army are baking some cakes to give away to all party goers.

An Independent Local Business will also be providing food to give away.

All food and refreshments will be given to everybody in attendance for FREE - Courtesy of Newtown Network and Local Independent Businesses.

Newtown Network T-Shirt Giveaway - Newtown Network will be giving away FREE T-Shirts to commemorate the event, this has been supported by Local Independent Businesses


The Newtown Network playlist will be playing from 3 pm  - 4pm


FREE Face-Painting for Children


Newtown Animal Trail - Bring your children and families down the Newtown Animal Trail to discover dinosaur eggs and other treats


Announcing the winner of the 'Count the Sweet Jar' competition - At the beginning of the Street Party children and adults will be invited to count the sweets in Jar, the winner of this competition will win a free meal to a local independent restaurant.
