Description
As part of The Hoxton Hub Health Network Fun Palace, Peer hosts a free drop-in creative family workshop that takes inspiration from Peer’s recent mural commission At Home, developed by artist Mohammed Z. Rahman and Peer Ambassadors.
At Home is a new permanent public mural on Hoxton Street by London‑based artist Mohammed Z. Rahman, and Peer’s current cohort of Peer Ambassadors, a group of local young people aged 17-25. Commissioned by Hackney Council as part of Connecting Hoxton, a social infrastructure and public realm strategy for Hoxton. This landmark mural builds on Peer’s legacy of developing public art commissions in East London and will welcome people to Hoxton Street and its market – offering a moment to pause, look closer, and connect with the neighbourhood.
