Description

Before the weekend, create some art around your favourite book. we will be creating a book trail in a local park (location tbc) for the Weekend of Fun Palaces.

We will not be having an event inside the library this year but still want to be involved.

The book Trail pictures have been put up in Heeley People\’s Park! Come down for a socially distanced walk around the wood and field area to see some children\\\’s favourite books. Want to do it too? it\\\’s not too late! Email your pictures over the weekend to highfield.library@sheffield.gov.uk and Monday evening they will be added to the trail! If you can\\\’t wait and want to add it yourself, we recommend laminating the pictures in case of bad weather and only use string to tie your pictures up.
It will be taken down on Thursday 8th October.

We are still hoping for you to get involved with Highfield Libraries Fun Palace this year, though it is slightly different!

We are wanting people to send artwork of their favourite book for us to laminate and create a book nature trail for all ages in a local park.

Please note, we need pictures by Wednesday 30th September!

You can collect the template from Highfield Library on Monday 28th September 10am – 12.30pm or 2pm – 4.30pm, or request the tempalte via email to print yourselves. We will also accept pictures on blank A4 white paper, but ask to leave a 2inch gap at the top for a title and logos which we can add once handed in. It can be returned to the library, there is a post box on the front door, or you can scan and email us a copy for us to print.

The more pictures, the bigger the trail!
