We want to hand over some library space to share the culture in our local community and make a fabulous Fun Palace! Got an idea, let us know!
A multitude of activities in a fabulous building. If you’ve something you’d like to offer please contact us.
On Saturday 6 October 2018, Farnham Fun Place will bring together, and for the 5th year, people and ideas to inspire and connect: tinkerers and crafters and fixers; painters and picture takers and story-tellers; knitters and sewers and menders; players and singers and dancers, gardeners and campers and travellers. It will be a celebration of art, science crafts and the community. Are you a Maker of any kind? Help us create hands-on fun for all ages (yes, adults are allowed to play!). If a hands-on workshop is not your thing, you can help looking after the visitors, documenting the event, setting the event up. Get in touch here: email@example.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
Building on the overwhelmingly positive experience of last year’s Fun Palace at Krowji we will once again be inviting the local community into Krowji to interact with artists, learn techniques and try out FREE hands-on activities. Fun Palace at Krowji 2018 will see a number of artists gathered together in one space here at Krowji to showcase activities, workshops and demonstrations based on ‘The science of creativity and the art of science’.
We wish to create a meeting place, an arena of exchange in a large tent set in a public park beside the River Wye. There is a walk to get there and like a Trim Trail there will be little encounters, areas of participation along the route, not necessarily sporting, but hopefully interesting and unexpected. In the tent will be a ‘laboratory of fun’ as envisaged by Joan Littlewood, places where people can take part in an activity, watch others creating things, or just relax and have a cup of tea
Get involved in whatever way you can. Be a maker – Bring your own interests & enthusiasm & share your knowledge and skills with others. Volunteer to help others take part. Come along on the day and have a go. Get it loud in the library, be an artist, be a scientist, be anything you want. To help us make this fun palace contact firstname.lastname@example.org or pop into see us.
Half Moon’s Fun Palace returns for a third thrilling year! This time around we’ll explore the exciting world of nature through creativity and family fun. Join us for music making and movement, art sessions, craft workshops, planting seeds, mayhem making and much, much more as children and their families take part in hands-on science experiments, get creative all around the theatre building and garden and immerse themselves in geology, wildlife, living plants and animals.
St Helens Library Service will support local groups and volunteers as they deliver creative and informative workshops. The sessions will share unique skills from music to crafts to sport.
Come see what you can discover at the Huntington City-Township Public Library’s Fun Palace! Transform yourself into a knight with the local Amtgard Group, become an artist with our art tables, try your hand at playing music with our instrument petting zoo, and much much more!
