Everyone’s invited to Apple Day on Saturday 7th October from 10am-2pm in the Secret Garden in Queen’s Park, Swindon. Bring apples and pears along and we’ll show you how to press them for juice. Don’t forget to bring clean plastic bottles so you can take the juice home to enjoy as it is or even try making cider! Don’t worry if you haven’t any fruit to bring, you can still join in the chopping, scratting and pressing and there will also be wonderful food, cider, entertainment & community stalls.

We have a huge wall painted in blackboard paint and we want everyone to come and create art on it! We also have loads of studs and will be studding denim. There will be other activities, it’s an all inclusive afternoon to create some art in our railway arch in Hackney Central. come from 12- 5pm but we may just go out later! Any DJs feel free to come along and spin some tunes on our decks!
We are proud to be hosting the first Armley One Stop Centre Fun Palace, a celebration of arts and culture run by the people of Armley for all of its community . We are looking for local people to help us plan our Fun Palace. If you are willing to come along and share a skill, a story or an activity particularly around art, science and technology please get in touch!
Birmingham playcare network is holding its first ever fun palace event at Aston Hall. Using materials from its two amazing scrapstore we are creating an out of this galaxy environment with artists and playworkers. Come and make a giant rocket and have fun at a fabulous Birmingham venue all for free.
We invite everyone from our local community (and further afield) to join us for a day exploring art and science. There will be lots of things for people of all ages to make, do and watch. More info coming soon!
Join a weekend of creation, collaboration and celebration at your local library. Drop in to any of our free, special Fun Palaces activities held in all libraries across Brisbane. Kites, coding, drawing, robots, optical illusions and origami – it’s all happening and we can’t wait!
Our Fun Palace will have a spy theme. It will start in the morning with arts and crafts at 11:00am. In the afternoon, we get high-tech with our augmented reality Spy Quest game. We welcome teams of new spy recruits to drop into the library between 1:00pm and 3:00pm to help solve the mystery.
We are very excited to be holding a Fun Palace here at Avonmouth Community Centre! Along with our friends at Wellspring Healthy Living Centre in Lawrence Hill, we are getting ready for a weekend of fun and interactive activities, based around a theme of growing and making. We have a Making Day on the Saturday, come along and learn and/or share your skill. Get making with your community! On Sunday we are showing, ‘Grow Your Own’ directed by Richard Laxton. Tickets are £5.90 incl. tea&cake!
